Water Time

Matthew and Micah have been wanting to play with their water table all winter. They remember how much fun it was last summer and always try to convince me to fill it up. I filled it up with sand and they loved playing with the sand for several weeks. Then, like most fun activities, they ruined it. They dumped the sand table upside down in the grass and it took quite some time to get the mess cleaned up. So, it was emptied and put away.

Well, it has been pretty warm in the afternoons, so today, I filled it with a little bit of water and let them play. They thought they had definitely died and gone to heaven!! They had so much fun and loved getting wet.

Micah especially loved to splash Matthew and would get the biggest smile each time he did it. Matthew didn't appreciate it, but never complained too loudly about it.

Matthew, after some time, remembered how much fun the table is to dump. So, eventually it was empty. He loved rolling it around and eventually climbed on top. He was sure he was "on top of the world!"
