Three years ago, Dalin had the opportunity to enter a swim-a-thon and raise money for Banner Desert Hospital, in honor of a very special little boy. His swim teacher, and close family friend, Brandon, lost his little boy to luekemia that year. Blake's Miracle was started in his name!
Dalin swam lap after lap to raise money to help other kids also suffering and waiting at the hospital for a miracle. There will always be a special place in our heart for this family and their strength and courage. Their faith is very apparent as you talk to them and they have made the most of an awful situation!
Well, here we are three years later, and my little boys are now taking swim lessons from Brandon. Blake's Miracle is still going strong, and lots of money is raised in Blake's name each and every year!! It was really fun to be able to, once again, help with this cause. Matthew and Micah didn't swim laps, but entered in the float-a-thon to raise money for Blake.
They both floated for over 10 minutes. This is a miracle!! They don't usually make it for 10 seconds with crying, but today was obviously different. They were happy and content to stay on their backs, with help, of course, and float while their swim teachers sang and talked to them. There was a sweet spirit that filled the swim school today. The same sweet spirit that was there three years ago!! We love you Brandon and Kelly!!

That is awesome! They lived in our ward during this heart breaking time and they are some of the most amazing people I have ever met! What neat little guys you have to work so hard for this special cause:)
I saw an email that taught kids to float on their backs it is really amazing. They look so big in those pics.
